OptimTalk Desktop Suite is offered in two editions. To learn more about the applicable licensing terms and conditions, please select an edition.

OptimTalk Desktop Suite Professional Edition Licensing

OptimTalk Desktop Suite Professional Edition is the best choice for professional use. Three licensing models are available:

Single user license

In the single user license model, a separate license must be purchased for each single person who is going to use the product. The person can install the product on several computers, e.g. on his/her desktop computer at work and on his/her notebook, as long as nobody else uses the software.

Multi-license

The multi-license is a cost efficient choice when a higher number of licenses is required for an organization/department/group/team/etc. A multi-license is typically limited by the licensed number of users and licensed installation sites. A multi-license with unlimited number of users and installation sites is also available. Licensed users are allowed to install the product on thier notebooks.

Academic multi-license

The academic multi-license is a reduced price multi-license for academic institutions. It allows staff and students within a single lab, department, or a similar organizational unit to use the product solely for non-commercial purposes such as teaching and research, providing that the software is installed only within the lab/department premises and on staff's and student's notebooks.

OptimTalk Desktop Suite Basic Edition Licensing

The Basic Edition can be used only for private and educational purposes, for non-profit teaching and non-profit research and for evaluation before prospective commercial use. Any commercial use including use of OptimTalk Desktop Suite Basic for development, testing and tuning of any VoiceXML, CCXML and grammar documents that will be later used commercially, or commercial research is unauthorized and illegal! For commercial use, users are required to purchase a license for the Professional Edition. By purchasing the Professional Edition license, they also get advanced features that are not available in the Basic Edition.

OptimTalk Desktop Suite Basic Edition is free of charge.
