OptimTalk Technology

OptimTalk Technology is a state-of-the-art, open standards-based technology for building complex telephony and speech solutions. The technology is designed to be integrated with products of OEM resellers or value-added resellers (VARs). It consists of three complementary parts that can be used separately, or can interoperate together:

  1. OptimTalk VoiceXML Interpreter serves for building advanced IVR and other speech enabled applications featuring automatic speech recognition (ASR), DTMF (touch tone) control, text-to-speech (TTS) and audio/video recording and playback. The VoiceXML based applications can go far beyond the traditional menu-driven conversation.
  2. OptimTalk CCXML Interpreter serves for building flexible telephony call control applications featuring advanced inbound and outbound call control, conferencing and media stream manipulation. Thanks to the integration with the OptimTalk VoiceXML interpreter, calls can be handled without human intervention by an automated VoiceXML based application.
  3. OptimTalk MRCPv2 Client serves for network based communication with speech recognition and text-to-speech engines residing on specialized speech processing servers. Thanks to the MRCPv2 client it is possible to build efficient and scalable speech-enabled solutions. The OptimTalk MRCPv2 Client ensures support of a large number of languages for the OptimTalk VoiceXML Interpreter that uses it for communication with third party speech recognition and text-to-speech systems.

OptimTalk Technology protects your investment by supporting open standards (VoiceXML 2.0/2.1, CCXML, SRGS, SISR, SSML, MRCPv2, HTTP(S) and more). It reuses the ever-present web infrastructure and proven web technologies and dramatically reduces application implementation costs and time to market.
